What do you think this holiday season will bring?

We are now in our third season of this pandemic, every year being a little bit different, and every year we’re facing some new challenges. Now is a great time to start thinking about what you’re going to do to make your holiday plan successful.

I’m Amber Christian, the owner of Stockabl, a handmade wholesale marketplace. I have a few things I want to share with you this month to think about as you start crafting your holiday plan.

First is location location location. There are two pieces to think about this month. You know that was always an old real estate adage, but it applies with the global supply chain as well.

First off, China is continuing a COVID zero policy. What does this mean for manufacturing? This means as there are different COVID outbreaks, China is opening and closing different regions of the country, so you can expect to continue to see supply chain disruptions from China and you want to make sure you have really clear understanding when ordering international product that you’re going to be able to get it on time this year.

The second thing you’re watching for is what’s going on with freight costs. This is all about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
