LAS VEGAS – Despite current business disruptions caused by COVID-19, International Market Centers (IMC) continues to plan for summer markets, with 13 new home décor showrooms confirmed for the Summer 2020 Las Vegas Market, running August 30-September 3.

“Although difficult to predict exactly what the future holds, IMC and our customers are looking ahead to recovery,” said Scott Eckman, executive vice president of furniture and home décor for International Market Centers. “Our planning for Las Vegas Market continues and we’re excited to celebrate these new showrooms as well as the inaugural use of The Expo at World Market Center to house our home décor temporary exhibits.”

Thirteen New, Expanding, Relocating Home Décor Showrooms

Five exhibitors will debut permanent showrooms in Building C this summer. Cloud9 Design Inc. (bags, bedding, pillows, poufs, scarves); ELK Home (accent furniture, home accessories, lighting, wall art); Fibreworks (natural fiber weaves); and Vahallan (decorative wall coverings) are all debuting on C5. Light & Living (accessories, furniture, lighting) also will be opening a space on C3.

Three exhibitors are expanding their showrooms on C5 in anticipation of Summer Market. Pom Pom at Home (accessories, pillow shams, throws) is expanding by 35 percent; and Lins Lace (baby accessories, baby clothing, beddings, chair covers, rugs) is relocating and expanding by 20 percent. In addition to its new showroom, Elk Home will be relocating and expanding its existing showroom by 12 percent.

Additionally, five relocations are A. Sanoma (home furnishings and lighting); catstudio (pillows, dish towels, glasses, pouches); Karma Living (home accents and personal accessories); and Native Linum (bath, bedding, curtains, kitchen and tabletop) on C5. Art Classics Limited (decorative wall art) will be relocating on C3.

Home Temporaries Moving to All-New Expo at World Market Center

Summer 2020 Market marks the grand opening of The Expo at World Market Center Las Vegas, a new 315,000-square-foot exposition facility, positioned contiguously with Building C. The Expo will house Las Vegas Market’s temporary exhibits as well as attendee and exhibitor registration, making it the gateway to the entire World Market Center campus. Other building amenities include an onsite shuttle bus depot, attached parking garage and two permanent “grab and go” food service areas.

“With the State of Nevada’s permission for in-progress construction continuation during other COVID-19-related business closures, The Expo should be completed on time and on budget,” Eckman said. “We’re so excited to see the building open and come to life with Las Vegas Market temporary exhibits this summer.”
