Adirondack Buyer Days is an opportunity for retailers to purchase quality, artisan-made goods.
For 30 years, the Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA), a nonprofit economic development organization based in upstate New York, has been helping artisans and retailers grow their businesses through the Adirondack Buyer Days wholesale show. The 2016 show takes place April 26–27 in beautiful downtown Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Retailers who attend this juried show benefit by meeting the producers of unique gift and specialty foods, handpicked by ANCA staff and representing the best of New York State made products. Working directly with the maker, rather than a sales rep, means having a chance to learn the stories behind the products and hear how they were made and the materials that go into them.
The variety of product types at the show ensures there’s “something for everyone.” Most vendors offer products that retail for $30 or less, as well as some higher-end selections, such as home furnishings, jewelry, and functional fine art. Whether you’re looking to stock your shelves with handmade body products, cocktail mixers, greeting cards, locally produced treats, or attractive dinnerware, you’ll find it here. Product categories also include pets, gardening, and the outdoors.
Artisan makers gain access to professional development opportunities such as workshops, one-on-one support, group calls with other makers, and connections with additional supporting organizations.
Featuring the best handmade gift and specialty food products from the Northeast, this show takes place at the Saratoga Springs City Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., on April 26 from 9–5 and April 27 from 9–4. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged! Visit www.adirondack.org for registration and additional information.
